Chuck, I converted a Lionel 0-4-0 "shifter" a while back to TMCC/RS with the ERR Cruise Cmdr Lite; put the boards in the tender; worked out nicely; I would recommend the CC Lite as it works really well with a single DC motor. I believe I had to use a tether between loco and tender. Falcon70
