Question for MTH DCS Users

Trying to determine if a MTH #20-91225 PRR Animated N6b caboose will operate from the whistle button on my Lionel ZW transformer with 180 watt bricks. MTH states the animated brakeman can be triggered using the whistle button on a MTH transformer or with a DCS operating track section. I know very little about DCS.
