Should I use a Wye or Switch

This bridge I'm building to connect my double helix, it's the only place that I could have a siding. I have about 7 inches in width to work with. My local LHS doesn't have any wye's in stock for me to measure. I'm thinking that a switch would be to wide.

Is there a wye made for Lionel tube track, I've searched the bay but don't see any available.
