What a great thread, Walter!  But then again, I'm a bit biased as the CNJ is also my favorite road.  My grandfather was an engineer on the CNJ  (see photos below), and I've been a fan my whole life.  My O-gauge CNJ roster consists of over 25 locomotives and probably 100 or so other pieces of rolling stock...I can't pick a favorite!!

 

Here's my grandfather at the controls of CNJ #107 as it takes on water and coal at the yard in Ashley, PA...

And here's a pair of CNJ Geeps and a CNJ caboose currently in service on my small basement layout.  The caboose weathering was done by Steve P. (or "SIRT" as we know him here on the forum)...
