The TMB Model train club is located in Farmingdale on Long Island NY. I started this thread a while back on the 3-rail section but now have some updates. I will be posting updates of our progress. After a voting process where three layouts were proposed what you see below is the clubs selection. The area in the lower right depicts the lower level and contain mostly hidden storage/staging tracks.
The orange and Green lines are the Branch Lines two simple loops for operators, Approx 300 foot run. The Blue and Black lines are based on a simple concept of a dog-bone with a circle wrapped around it, then stretched and twisted throughout the train room. These line when operated conventionally will accommodate two operators for some fun operation, and they are approx 650 feet long
Not shown in the diagram and slated for the near future will be a logging line and a ceiling line encircling the entire train room. I hope you enjoy this thread and I will continue to update as time goes by
