0-27 PROFILE TRACKS

Perhaps not for the O-27 radius but the wider radii seem to be in demand. Especially pricey are the K-Line late production O-42 switches with the low profile motor in O-27 rail. Been watching EBay for some for months.

I use it and only partially agree with what Scotie said.

I have about 90 pieces of 27" curves which I have always used - until last year when I entered the tin-plate world, which now limits me to using just my 42, 54, and 72 inch curves.  There are still some uses for it on certain layouts.  Not everyone runs the big stuff.  I had 9 Railking PS2 engines ranging from steamers, small switchers, up to RS-3s and they ALL easily handled 27" curves.

i have a lot of the straights. Long 36" an 18" k-line type in blister packs. Trying to decide on what to do. 

Sell it, or use it yourself for displaying rolling stock.  At least that's what I'd be doing with it.  I also plan on using tin plate track straights like that as the track on bridges and lift outs when I build my layout.
