Not that anyone cares but today is my 14th anniversary as a member of the forum.  It is hard to believe 14 years have gone by since my first post.  Time certainly does fly when you are having fun and I have a had a ton of it while on the forum.   I have learned so much from the many knowledgeable posters here and fully recognize that my enhanced expertise in the realm of toy train maintenance and repair is directly attributable to their collective knowledge.  If I was able to track the amount of time I have expended here over the last 14 years I would no doubt be amazed how much it has increased from year to year.  Posting and interacting with forum members has been a very enjoyable experience and that is solely because so many great people belong to the forum.  I will admit that there have been a few occasions when I have indulged in some on line sword play but I sincerely hope I have not offended anyone.  In any event,  I want to express my gratitude to Rich, the OGR staff and to every member of the forum for making this such a rewarding experience.  Hopefully. I'll have another 14 years of good times here.  Many thanks everyone.

Congratulations! That's a long time to stick with an online forum, but I can certainly see why you have. I've only been posting here for about 2-1/2 years, (Sept. 2012, but lurked for a while prior to that). I will 2nd your thanks to OGR and staff for making it the place that it is. Also a thanks to all the members and their vast knowledge that they so willingly share with us. I hope we can all still be around here posting in another 14 years and wishing you another congratulations for 28 years.

Here, here.....Rich and OGR staff have my utmost respect and my heartfelt thanks for providing this Forum.....But OKHIKER...this Forum is great because people like you that have contributed over the years....for 20 of my adult train years(1980-2000), I was a "lone wolf" in the hobby.....the last 15 have made the hobby a "social experience".

Congratulations on your anniversary!

Peter
