The 39th annual Gaithersburg, Md.railroadiana show will be held on Sun, Nov. 6, 2016 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Early admission for Fri. Nov. 4 and Sat. Nov. 5 is available.

Also of note - there is a small model railroad show in an adjacent building. Mostly HO/N focused last I was there. The CSX Metropolitan Branch cuts smack through the southern edge of the fairgrounds.
Across the street from the Chestnut St. entrance to the fairgrounds is Engine House Hobbies - excellent O Gauge store. Just about 1/2 mile down the street is the B&O Station and Freight House with restored museum, B&O Budd Car, C&O Caboose and BC&G #14 steam engine, all beautifully restored.
