The other night I decided to replace the O27 circle on the puppy dogs Treat Train with O31 Fastrack. Because they’re so simple; I wanted Ma to be able to operate LionChief engines in the Living Room and most of LC rtr sets operate better on O31 track.
In the process of replacing the track we discovered if we elevated the O27 track the display could have two tiers without any clearance issues. So now Ma and the puppy dogs have a whole new Railroad empire, with two loops plus a bump & go handcar. The handcar has a Painting of a Cemetery for a backdrop. I think it's kind of morbid for an old lady but it's one of her favorites.
The video shows a 92 year old woman operating her new display for the first time after only 30 seconds of instruction.
The top tier and the bump& go handcar are set constant voltage which automatically operate when power is turned on.
Note the step stools occasionally used as viewing platforms for the puppy dogs.
