Very nice, Lee.  Thanks for always taking the time to share not only your pictures, but also your thoughts and philosophies about so many things.  I don't always agree with everything, but I enjoy hearing your reasoning and appreciate your taking the time to articulate it and share it.

That was a great tour. Very nice layout and a story for every piece/area/vehicle on the layout as well. Very creative and looks like more is planned already. It looks like you have maximized the use of almost every inch of space too. Can't imagine the amount of time, effort and thought you have put in to all that. You are very talented and creative. Thanks for posting the tour, which was also well put together.

I saw your post about the device you tried out to keep the street vehicles from catching each other. Are you going to use more of those devices for the added blocking you mentioned on your streets layouts?

Also, what DC power supplies do you use and what all do you power with them? I am thinking about using more DC on my layout for accessories and switches etc, but have not found a reasonably priced DC power supply that looks to be suitable.

Having visited Lee several times while in North Carolina, I can tell you that this pictorial layout tour, while excellent, only begins to touch on the fun and whimsy of Lee's layout and his inventive/creative mind. Left out: Burma Shave signs he made, the IGA store with the working toy horse ride in front (that goes up and down); who can forget the secret rocket base he was constructing; the incredible 'Streets vehicles he has created; the multiple bashed and created locomotives; and we didn't get any pictures of the tacky mobile home park (even though it was mentioned).

Lee is a fantastic host. It is a treat to see his layout if you ever get the opportunity.

Holy Smokes!!!!  This layout demands a feature article somewhere.  Every time I see a layout like yours Lee which is so beautifully modeled and minutely detailed I feel like tearing my own layout down because it is so crude in comparison.  If you could bottle your skills and sell them you would be a very, very wealthy man.

I think you should just start your own forum.  You are carrying half of this one.  I don't know where you get the time to do all you do.  I'm thinking it is your creative mind that never stops thinking of new things, but to do them all is another thing.  Bravo Lee!
I still will never understand the aversion to hooking one skinny wire to the outside track, but you've covered that before.  Glad to see you having so much fun and sharing your talent with the rest of the universe.  Rock on!

Absolutely feature article(s) worthy.

Knowing how much time it takes to photograph, edit, write and compose such a post, thanks for taking the time Lee and sharing your efforts here with us.
