Neat layout, I really like the clean and classic look.
I like it I was going to suggest putting one painted 2x4 painted grey for a transfer dock for that nice truck fleet. But that might be to much ?

Running trains....having fun.....looks perfect to me!!
Do you have a speaker in a car to get that music in the top first video?
Who are the baseball players?
Clem, there is a dock between the boxcars and trucks. It's dark brown so kinda hard to see.
Tom, yes, a speaker riding on a flat car.
Eddie, ballplayers are 1968 Detroit Tigers. Earl Wilson, Al Kaline, Denny McLain.

That is a terrific layout. I really like the clean look and choice of colors. You surely must have a lot of fun running trains. Also, nice choice of road name - the NYC always looks classy.
Thanks for the video (and music)
Ed
Thanks, guys, for your comments.

Nice "man town" you got going there.

Just one more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulNqJgY6AVg
Nothing wrong with a clean, unclutered look!
....and, cannot disagree with those Lightning Stripes!

I like the combination of the shiny, tall, old-school 0-31 track and realistic speeds. Interesting esthetic. Almost abstract. Nice and quiet apparently, too. Appealing.
But, a Water Level Route without Niagaras, Hudsons and Mohawks? I dunno...
D500, I do like that NYC steam but, on my layout, I'm strictly a diesel guy.
