I think it was stan2004 where i got this image but anyway will these modules wired directly to my track 18vac input and adjusted to dc i select work without interfering with DCS signals?I think it was GRJohn that stated inputs and outputs must not share a common and must be isolated. There are many of different types of these ac/dc modules some appear to have a transformer on the board.

thanks ..i spaced on the ac input.

here are the specs on the first module pictured.

nput voltage

AC2.5V-27V DC3-40v

Output voltage

1.5V-27V

Switching frequency

150KHz

Input current

3A(maximum)

Load regulation

±0.5%

Voltage regulation

±0.5%

Work temperature

negative 40 to Nonnegative 85

Overall dimension

54*24*(length*width)(mm)

I have the first module pictured, that one is must certainly NOT isolated, and you should NOT ground either of the outputs to the input common or you'll get fireworks.

Obviously, the links to the actual modules would be very useful so I didn't have to go searching for them.

This is the non-isolated module, I use these.

From what I find on eBay for similar looking modules, this one is probably isolated.
