I have programmed 3 turnouts on my AIU to operate 3 Ross Custom Switches via my DCS remote.  However, in programming the 4th turnout and going through the very same procedure it would not come up on my remote.  The power source is the same, the step by step programming I followed to the letter, and it simply did not appear.  What gives?  Could it be that the Ross actuator is defective; but, it does operate with the push button (which is a slightly different wiring  arrangement) than using the AIU?

it would not come up on my remote.

Do you mean that it doesn't appear on the list of switch tracks when you press the remote's SW button? If so, have you scrolled the thumbwheel to see it? The window only shows 3 switch tracks at a time. If you scroll down you should see the #4 switch track.
