Recently there was a small flurry of pre-war Alexander LW Psgr cars/carbodies in various states from "raw" up to nicely finished/RTR. A "disturbance in the force."  I'm looking at the pictures I snagged from the sales (didn't win) and wondered if anyone here could answer some questions about these?

1. Were all the two basic types all cast aluminum, or were there bronze versions?

2. Does ANYONE remember or know if the "kit" included the floor and bolsters? and if so were they castings as well?

3. Does anyone own either of these two versions built or not, and any observations you can share about them? I am particularly interested in the pre-war 1938 Broadway/Century cars.

4. When these were actually built/catalogued?

Any info appreciated, often have been given really good info on these old kits/models here (if I ask) and again it's always appreciated.

Pete
