Brasseur's is my most local of local train stores. I have been a happy customer with Bob going back to 1992 when Brasseur's was located in their home's basement. Bob's is an all-gauge all-scale store, so those of you whose involvement in the hobby extends beyond 3-rail O gauge should check it out. Bob is a font of train hobby knowledge and his establishment is a great source of parts and hobby supplies. Over the years, the Brasseur gang has beautifully performed difficult repairs for me on several brands of trains, new and vintage.

In this era of bland strip malls and cold on-line experiences, Brassuer's has the great ol' feel of the train stores of yore with an accent on service and friendly Midwestern 'nice' to match. So, the next time you are in Saginaw, MI drive over to Court St. and take it in.

Hello Bob,

Thanks for the very kind words.

Just a short history.....Lionel Trains followed me all my life...selling Lionel Trains at a big department store in downtown Saginaw in 1953-1954 and doing repairs for customers. After a tour of duty with The United States Marine Corps, working for Saginaw Steering Gear Div. of GM with people asking me to repair their trains, I started this business in the basement of our home in 1969,  I was appointed Lionel Service Station #199 January 3rd. 1974 by Lenny Dean.

After retiring from S.S.G. as a Industrial Electrician in 1988 we decided to go into this business full time, moving our business to the West-side business area and the rest is history.....having great customers like you.
