I've never set foot in Washington State but have ordered twice from Eastside, an MTH Imperial Railking N&W Y6B 2-8-8-2 Coal Specialty train set and an MTH DCS set. Certainly not a big spender there but Johnny was a class act and one heck of a nice guy. Great service and will do more business with them in the future. 

Alan, great job.  Dotty and I had a chance to visit with the great people at Eastside with my friend Larry Brown.

 

I feel very fortunate to live close enough to drive to Eastside Trains. The staff is great, they also have a full service shop that can repair both old and new equipment. I just got their price list for volume two. It's very competitive, especially for the West Coast.  It's a great place to take kids, there is a a wooden train layout that they can play at and there are two operating layouts that are usually running on weekends.

I have been in several west coast train stores in my day.  This is the best of the west.  Great store, great staff and I found a locomotive I have been hunting.

We stopped by Eastside Trains a couple weeks ago.  As Marty said, it's the best in the west.  The staff was very friendly and helpful and we didn't have enough time to peruse all of the inventory, their stock is very impressive.  Everyone went out of their way to help me and answer all my questions. 

Good to them on board!  Made a few purchases from them over the years.  I found out about them through this forum.
