York is too far and too costly for me to attend (maybe a one time visit someday), but I really do enjoy the reports and videos of your LUG meetings. I hope you do that again this time and is you do I will certainly be watching for them.

Thanks Marty, I will be watching for your posts. You are most welcome, and thank you for having the meeting, making the videos and reports, taking all the questions and everything else that goes into to having the meeting.

  The question I have for the Legacy Team is,

Is there anything in the future to add more trains to the Cab 2? ENG 0-98 with ENG 99 controlling all engines   I am getting close to filling up the Legacy remote and I would like to know.  Thank you for your time.

As of now I count 15.  Thanks for letting me know.  It's more important than in the past to let me know if you are coming due to the buffet style breakfast.

Marty I just heard from my friend that runs the York buss from Long Island that Alexander's is closed. That was their breakfast stop Friday morning. 

You may be right, I tried calling them and got a recording: "The mailbox number you are trying to reach is not in service, GOODBYE!"  Followed closely by a click as the line went dead.

Actually it's the base that stores the data...you could buy another set and store 98 in each base. Of course you would have to use one base at a time and not mix engines from both bases...

I'm wondering if Lionel could make/market a TMCC/Legacy signal strength car. Could be a line of LEDs that show signal strength as to how many are lighted as the car is pulled around the track areas. There are already TMCC/Legacy cars and it would not take much to design one and add an analog readout such as this. Any interest?

If that is the case, and I'm checking, then the Legacy Meeting will most likely be cancelled for the fall. It's a little late to reschedule. I'll keep everyone posted. 

Bummer!  I checked two different numbers for Alexander's and got the same recording for both tries.

The web shows it "permanently closed". Please continue to submit questions. We may improvise for the fall and see what spring brings. 

Interestiing though as I always confirm the room before I post. As of 9/5, they had no idea they were closing. Or they strung us along. 

John I know you guys have an event there Thursday night. Might want to alert the troops.

Just a Google result. 

If you could get in touch with the Eastern Division there is a meeting room off the main lobby of the Orange hall all the way on the right just past the last hall entrance. I doubt they will be using it then.

For food everyone could get bring their own or get it from the hall vendor in the lobby.

Just throwing out an idea considering our time line.
