Another New LHS Bucking the Trend (in Florida)

He bought out Hank with the Lionel parts.  He bought out all the rest of Bills and Jean's parts inventory and Bill's train show boxes. I have known Dave for awhile from the train shows in the area. It was weird seeing Dave in Bill's usual spot at the Tampa Show. I was disappointed in his train inventory at the show. I hope he is as good as Bill when it comes to acquiring collections.  My only issue is now there are not any decent train shops that sell O gauge on my side of the Bay( Gibsonton). I hope any members who live in the area will take a trip and see Dave and give him the support we all gave Bill.

UPDATE

Dave was handing out these updated cards at the Deland train show today which show an opening date for his store of August 1^st, just 3 weeks from today.

How was the show. Some issues with my daughter caused a change in plans. So I missed the show. It's good to know he will be opening up on the first. How did his selection look like?.

If you're going to miss one, the July show is the one to miss.  It wasn't as busy as the January, April or October shows.  Some of the regular dealers weren't there and it didn't seem as crowded as usual.

July in Florida is hardly train season!

Dave had a fair amount of stuff on his tables

 but everytime I went by he was busy looking up parts in his Greenberg service manual for customers.
