Using a Corgi Birney for the project.....this car appears in Ken Springirth's "Greater Erie Trolleys." The poles will be replaced , dcc and lighting added. The power truck is from Q car as are the new roof mats and drop steps...the roof isn't fastened down yet....

Somewhere I have an old Adams aluminum Birney that I should drag out of storage and get into - think I even have a Q-car drive on the shelf that will work for it, too.

I'll have to dig it out of its position in the queue; got several projects lined up for my column and then a freight motor restoration in my sights. That latter project is one I need to get into if only to clear it away from the space it's occupying. Hope that the old drive in it still works,

I like that cast Birney car body you have there. I am in the market for one of those or the Bronze version just because. Neat piece of model traction history.
