 Hello,

I’m looking for someone with historical knowledge of the steam engine at Dorney Park.    It looks like the steam engine still exists according to their website.  My father was on contract for a company named Crown Metal Products to help build some coaches in 1980.   They built a series of passenger cars for a diesel that was shipped to Canada’s Wonderland in Toronto.  The cars he built were eventually split up and sold.  A couple of years ago,  through web searches and emails to various train historians,  I received information that leads me to believe the cars are still in existence at the Omaha Zoo and Dorney Park.   I’ve confirmed the cars are still at the Omaha Zoo.  However; I’ve never been able to confirm if the other set of cars are at Dorney Park.  If anyone knows the history of the train cars at Dorney Park, I would be grateful if you could confirm if the cars are from Crown Metal Products.   Dorney Park is a much closer drive for me than Omaha.

The coaches are listed on this website:
