If you join the club as an Electronic Member (EM), the annual dues are only $25/year. I think that works out to be less than E-bay's fees. (Depends upon how much you buy and sell per year).

Locomotion' suggestion is probably your best bet. I don't know how many LCCA cars have been made to date, but looking at the Interchange Track (the online version gives you a headstart over the guys that don't want to use it), there seems to be hundreds.

IMHO, Ebay is your best bet.
Just be careful, check the seller's feedback, look at the pictures and description closely.
Decide what you are willing to pay in advance (including shipping) and stick to that limit.
