Yes, the old L&N Depot (I think) has been turned into a Wyndham Hotel (I think).  It is located near the top of the hill on the main drag (going south, I think) from downtown Nashville.  Interior of old depot is now hotel lobby, and tracks still run down on first level (at least they did 5 years ago).

Hope it's still there and open so you can enjoy it.

Thanks for the replies, and sorry for the silence since posting, work got crazy and travel plans have shuffled.

Still heading to Music City the end of the week, though need to leave sooner than I would have liked, so we only have one day semi-free.

Larry, I'm hoping to be back in the fall, home layouts are always interesting as I've run a few tours in Boston's southern suburbs. I see there are a couple of museums with 1:1 trains I may have time heck out this trip. Though, another New England winter like 2015, and I just may be coming down for good!

Chuck, yes I've been to the Union Station, beautiful. Though a round of drinks at the bar set me back about one diesel engine. Took this shot outside my hotel window when we ewer there a year ago...

Nashville is a friendly city.  A little hoof work gets you around to a lot of interesting sites.  This slideshow  has pictures of Nashville and  Great Smokey Mts. National Park, a good distance from Nashville.  We had such a good time, we did two different evenings at the Ryman center.  At the time, a flood had taken-out the Grand-Ole-Opry, The Ryman center was the back-up theatre/stage of choice.
