They do? I do NOT remember that model ever posting in their catalog for O scale. Are you sure you are not confusing this model with a Trainmaster H24-66 model,

PRRHORSESHOECURVE, it is entirely possible that in my haste I misread the MTH posts. (I'm supposed to be hard at work from home in a snow storm and was posting on my break.). I love the New Haven livery on the first engine that you posted.  Thanks for posting the pix.

YEs I have both the powered and the non- powered Lionel model with tmcc. I like it and it's close to the actuall PRR model. The sounds are Great!

May be wrong, but I don't recall that they ever made this engine in conventional.

There are a number of new ones shown in the latest Lionel 2016 catalog.

I have a Milwaukee Road it has TMCC also.

Breezinup, thanks for mentioning the 2016 catalog. I hadn't read that far last time I looked.  They are built to orders and beyond this short line's budget. The reissue would explain why the one I missed out on was so cheap.  The older ones do seem to have been issued in conventional as per the Walthers link I provided earlier. ('Way up at the top.)

Glad to read/hear from a prior poster that the sound is good. I like the look, too.

I have a Lionel conventional H16-44 in NYC livery; the stock number is 18386. I think it's a great piece. 

Here's one the early ones with TMCC....circa 2003....in New York Central freight livery....and the correct orientation, long hood forward.....

Sorry the the noise from the Alco DL 109-110 dominates.....

Comparing FMs to ALCos reminds me of the old phrase, "Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker."

Thanks for the input, Don, Chris, and Peter.  Peter, in your video, the engine looks good pulling passenger cars, too. Part of my dilemna is: do I pick up another freight engine to fill a gap decade or two between steam and my NS SD70ACe or get an engine that also pulled passenger cars to try and bring a tiny bit of reality to the carpet empire.  Switchers are so much fun 'though.
