Are these Williams trains? See photos, please. No markings. No cab number. Plastic pilot and plastic side trucks. Plastic fuel tank with letters WRL on it. Two can motors. Any idea year this was made?

The body shells are ex-Kusan EMD F7 tooling, with the Kusan "humpback" problem resolved (why Kusan did that, I don't know), but still having the improper (for an EMD) nose contours. They're cute, though - and look more prototypical around the windshield

than the Lionel-copy F3's.

 

Modern, improved (same underneath as the F3's, I guess; flywheels and so on) iterations of these F7's are still being offered and or made - or have been only recently retired?
