In grey, and dark inside, it reminds me of the day view of many smaller, old theaters, turned nightclub, dotting the older neighborhoods. I get a Southern, maybe S.W. feel from the deco design. It also has characteristics of some of the newer buildings around here. (the crown, no glass blocks)

If its on the aged end, it might need broken neon lights mounts from the original business sign, even with a new one up .

I've had very glass block like results with Testors model airplane canopy material a very clear cement. Its made for forming better airplane canopy windows, but many thick coats gets that strange focus, known of glass block.

Or maybe you are going to clamp clear plastic in your super-micro-mini vise, and produce "real" glass blocks?

It is just the grey, it has the ability to be ghetto. It can also be new.

The crown looks very good. Its very hard to nit-pick your nice work.

"No Michelangelo, not that color

The space below the crown, but above the block windows, could contain a sign, or a continuation of the design. But two, or three color tones, separating the crown, from the "space, and lower half of the building, could make it less noticeable too. Have you looked a Frank Lloyd Wrights work before? More than the buildings, his stained glass work could be excellent "filler" inspiration (not in glass, just good lines).

In my opinion anyhow.
