I have an Atlas O TMCC Cruse control locomotive that has very spotty sensitivity to TMCC features. Could it be an antenna problem? All other TMCC and Legacy locomotives work fine on my layout.

Does it improve if you hold your hand over the engine?
Does it stop and flash it's lights?
Maybe something else if it's just missing commands?
No improvement with the hands over the locomotive. It is odd that all of my other TMCC and Legacy locomotives run fine. I not even sure what the antenna looks like on this locomotive.
Depends on year and who's product is in there. Lionel's or TAS. Best to open and see if antenna is touching flywheel and grounding out, or wire broke off. Also could be R2LC sensitivity is bad and try swapping in a new one. If it runs fine with shell off, something is grounding antenna when shell is on. G
