Atlas O Trainman LIRR cabooses…
Finally grey lettered LIRR bay window cabooses. Although they are not anything like N-22’s they are good enough.
I guess due to the window placement, the lettering couldn’t be moved up. The end numbers are missing.
Also the dashing Dan logo is undersized. I covered the logo with a decal on C-68, faded the letters and printed out end numbers for both units.
Dan is running the wrong way on the decal.
As fans know, most LIRR cabooses didn’t have bays or windows. The short half bays were built to clear station platforms in many cases.
From the real photo, C-70 may have had a grey roof???
Roads 68 & 70 quietly became available early around last Oct. from Atlas.
