BCR "sticker?"

I believe that sticker is on the BCR that is shaped like a 9V battery.

Concur with Bill.  I have a bag of a few BCRs I didn't install yet (9v type) and they have this sticker on one side.  (The other side has J&W, web site, phone number and patent #)

That would be up to you as the BCR's cost more then the batteries , usually .either way your train will run fine on a battery or a BCR, so it come's down to a personal preference!

That maybe true, however the BCR units do NOT "go bad" and do NOT have to be charged overnight, in order to operate one of your models that hasn't been used in a long time.

I have BCRs on every MTH PS1 and PS2 engine I own. I put a small "BCR" label that I make with my label maker on the bottom of the engine and the box label to indicate that a BCR is installed.

I keep track of mine via the collection database and note all that have a BCR if I need a reference.

Bill is right,  that is an early 9V style BCR label.   It's no longer a minute but more like 15 seconds above 10v to get the BCR charged up.   If you have a transformer with an amperage meter / voltage meter,  watch it when you power up an engine that has been dormant for a long period.   The Volts and Amps will lower once the BCR is charged,  usually by one volt / amp.
