Best glue for ameritown buildings?

Here's what I use - I'm sure others have their favorites as well. 

The Lightning Bond works really well if you are kit bashing and have a small gap to fill. It adds a great deal of rigidity to the project.

I used tenax and backed all the joints with .100 thick evergreen strips.  No issues with bonding, but since it melts the plastic, try not to get any on the finished surfaces.

I would use Plastruct  "Bondene". It is for gluing similar plastics. The Ameritown kits are styrene and this is a great glue for them. I would also purchase a syringe from Plastruct to apply it. If you do have to fill gaps, Zap Gap or equal with an accelerator works well.

Then Tenax (methylene chloride0 will work if used appropriately.  So would MEK....  Again, appropriate use and ventilation particularly on the latter.

We strongly recommend the Plastruct Plastic Weld in the orange bottle when gluing parts together that fit tightly. We have not had good luck with the Tenax product. We used to sell it, but stopped after getting too many complaints about its performance. It just isn't well-suited to our plastic.

The other products mentioned here for gap filling work well if you are kitbashing the buildings and have a little gap to fill.
