Blue Comet with LED's | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

A couple of Yorks ago I purchased two sets of Blue Comet cars from the guy that sells the MTH stuff unboxed. One was a Premier set and one a Railking. Since they are two different sizes I thought mixing them in the same train would look fine. I have the Lionel Legacy Blue Comet Pacific and an Older MTH Premier that was upgraded to PS2 They looked great running but the missing link was the lighting It seems the Railking set had much better lighting than the Premier set I installed LED lighting in both and they look awesome now Here is a video

The cars look great and couldn't tell the difference between the RK and Premeire.

It must be that were all old. I can't see the difference either. They look fantastic. I have the new MTH Premier Blue comet swet & love it.

Steve This is what I used They are cheap come with double sided tape and just stick onto the inside of the car body

The lights appear quite blue - is that my computer, or are these particular LEDs that way? Or is that right for a Blue Comet?
