Alex, I think that green truck went to SI via the 59th St. Ferry.
Don't forget the ORANGE Holtermann's Bakery Vans...

Holtermann's bakery is still in business as of today, and going strong
Alex
I really like these Divco milk trucks. I'm waiting for one for Maine's largest dairy still in business, Oakhurst Farms Dairy. In fact they even have a Divco truck that they use for special events. How about it, Diecast Direct?
You guys who are pining for a special Divco... Be advised that Diecast Direct has them available in all white and/or all cream colored as a starting point for doing your own custom job. FI, finding the Dugan's logo online shouldn't be too difficult. If you can capture it, photoshop to size, you might be able to make your own decals...commonly done nowadays.

Just a thought...
Of course, 'patience' is the other alternative.
I'm waiting for the Sealtest one that delivered our milk in Washington, D.C. when I was growing up. Thompson's Dairy was also in that area...also delivered in the ubiquitous Divco's.
This is one of those products that could keep the Chinese busy for YEARS catering to our memories!!
Just got the Borden's truck a little while ago. Thanks Steve.
Andy
Strogey, you are welcome to one of my 1:43 Divco delivery truck display case and box, give me your address.
By the way,I have a great grandaughter named Lilly.
I'm waiting for the Sealtest one....
Ditto!
My Borden's Truck arrived Saturday. I may get one of the cream-colored undecorated for decorating as a local Guilford Dairy Truck.
Also like to have a Sealtest version.
Thanks for the post. I forgot I had stashed away a white truck and a cream truck, both undecorated. Allan, now that you mention it, I think our milkman was a Sealtest truck. My mind is going. Will have to ask my brother if he remembers.
I do remember opening the bottle and getting the cream off the top.

Hey Don, When I worked for Center Auto Supply in the 60's I would call on the Borden's Milk Garage on one of the side streets off Honeyspot Road in Stratford, selling auto parts and filling their KEM ignition cabinet with ignition parts.
Just trying to help your memory. Good Luck, Casey.
The garage and lot was always full of the Divco's that looked exactly like the new American Heritage Bordens Truck.
Casey, I used to go Center Auto Supply! Maybe you waited on me. Maybe it was Borden's then. thanks.
Guys: Down in Canfield, OH, just outside of Youngstown and just down the street from the World Headquarters of "0" Gauge Railroading, at T.P Tool Corporation, they have a beautifully restored sample of a Divco milk truck painted in, none other than The Borden Milk Colors of Die Cast direct. you can go down and shoot photos of the way the "real" one looks, to this very day!

Casey....I was going to send you an email but your address is not in your profile. Can you please send me an email to the address in my profile?
Thank you for your offer!
Ken
Ken, E-mail sent, I hope you get it, not very good at this computer stuff.
WooHooo! My Bordens Divco truck has arrived today. It arrived quicker than I expected too. Only 18 days from placing the order until it arrived at my door. That is pretty good for Air Mail.
It is indeed a lovely model, and I am very impressed by the interior detail.
I've been dreaming of this variation labeled Jack Daniels or Johnny Walker . . .
In addition to Borden's milk delivered. I remember, as a kid, Larsen's Bakery delivered by truck in Westerleigh on Staten Island, to my house. The bakery may have been in Brooklyn(?).
Just put mine on the layout....I love it!!!
Alan
Just ordered the Borden's truck from ModelTrainStuff after seeing Sirt's magnificent Weekend Photos.
