I am planning my shelf layout for our kitchen. I have a gap over the doorway that I need to cross. Here is the problem; I only have about 7 inches from the track to the ceiling. I know it is close but it is what I have to work with. The space is about 36" long and would lead into a curve.

I would contact Silk City Bridges at the NJ Hirailers. They do custom work and can do a bridge for that space.

try A Bridge that's what I did in my kitchen. Try 100 Ft Bridge Company They make different sizes and too.

Consider a trestle in lieu of a bridge so you take advantage of all 7 inches.
