Hi everyone.

Anyone know who sells O scale (not 3-Rail) bumpers. There was once a couple of firms making kits (one white metal the other brass) but I can't remember who and can't find any on the Internet. I don't want Wheel Stops I have plenty of those.

If you give me a successful lead I will send you a gift from West Australia as a 'Thank You".

Any ideas? Thanks Roo.

Harbor Belt lines has Hayes Bumpers in cast metal kits.  He mostly carries O scale and I saw these at a show recently.  I'm pretty sure these are O, but you may want to email David Thompson (owner) to verify.  The listing on his website did not specify.

See this thread.  It includes some prototype pictures.

It's a dead heat Joe and Bob send me your name and address's offline to this address. neville-1234@bigpond.com (if you trust me)

I've never dealt with them but it looks like they will ship overseas I did not notice how they want to be paid I assume it will be a credit card.

I think I'll order the 10 pack should keep me going for a while if they are cast metal kits I'm very pleased. Thanks very much for that. Regards, Roo.

Hi Nev. yes Dave from harbor belt lines is your best bet.

Also, Old Pulman (which I believe is defunct now) had a brass bumper the orig. owner produced.  I preferred those to the white metal ones made by Keil-line products. I would ask on O scale yardsale etc etc.

I have used the  more modern  plastic Lionel ones on my float. Weathered up they arent bad.

Chris, Pierre, thanks.

Simon. Yes it's something I have never used yet thanks for reminding me I must remember for next time.

Hot Water. I have some of those Brass Hayes bumpers and also his Wheel Stops which are nice I did not think he was still making them anymore.

I am going to try the Harbor items they look good.

Thanks Roo.
