My spare Cab2 remote has problems with the smoke off,on and reset, rule 17 on buttons. Pushing either the top or bottom buttons causes the button above or below to operate. I reloaded the cab2 with the latest software but that made no difference. Anyone have any ideas - or do I need to send it back to Lionel? Thanks Bruce

That sounds like a touch keypad issue, time to go back to Lionel.

From what I am understanding Guns is absolutely correct, maybe time to send the unit back to Lionel, however maybe GGG might be able to help with the problem.

you might try backing off the back screws a little and see if that helps
