Hi everyone. I have introduced a passenger service to my Railroad (thanks to Atlas!) for the first time in 37 years and have to make some space in a already crowded layout. The photo shows the Old crane track that I have just extended one track that is where the train will terminate. I need a nice little shelter for my passengers nothing fancy a kit or ready built please don't suggest to scratch one I am already swamped with work I hope to put a fence there and a small garden the platform you see there stays for the occasional TOFC service must keep those! I'm open for suggestions. Thanks Roo.DSC01339DSC01340

Hi Rich.

Not what I had in mind for this particular spot BUT ideal for the Second station which is in the middle of the line see photo near that relay box which will be removed. (There will be three stations eventually).

So I have jumped ahead and ordered this one for the second station it should be here in a couple of weeks. Keep the suggestions coming I like results Thanks RooDSC01342.

Thank you Mark for that thread thank you Bob for your suggestion on that nice Aussie shelter, and thanks to all that replied, so after all the thank you's and suggestions I have ideas for the middle station and ordered the flag Stop Station but I still don't have a station at Valley Forge which is what this thread is about so even though the work list is enormous I have been forced to build my own station well at least I have started on the roof sometimes you have to build from scratch when you don't want to probably could have gone with the Atlas 16,000 miles away and wait for weeks not to mention the costRoof for REA depot 005Roof for REA depot 010Roof for REA depot 011 anyway enough complaining this is what I am doing. The trusses I am using and modifying are from some long gone O scale Factory that I used all the walls on another project but not the roof and the trusses. Sorry for the text all over the place but I feel really down at the moment trying to find things took me nearly 2 hours to find those trusses and other items I'm sick of it at the moment feel like throwing the whole lot in the trash bin and lie in bed all day and do nothing it's so frustrating I hate it. Roo.

Yesterday some fencing arrived for the first stage of my station at Valley Forge so last night I started pasting posters on the fencing next will be to plant it in the ground with a bit of luck and not much baby sitting I might even have the station up and running by the end of next week. I'll give it my best shot. "Stilgoe Printing" is named after a good O scale friend of mine who happens to live in America!  Roo.
