I have uploaded the video to Vimeo and have copied its embed code following the instructions. When it is inserted I see a yellow box in the post. What am I doing wrong? I am using a Apple iMac and have tried both Safari and Chrome.

Are you using the "Insert/Edit Embedded Media" button? That only requires the video URL, not the complicated embed code that a previous version of this forum's software required.

After you pasted the code into the Embedded Media field, did you click on the "INSERT" button to complete the insertion of the code into the post?
Yes. I used the Share function on Vimeo and copied the embed code. I then clicked on "Insert/Edit Embedded Media" button in the forum, pasted the embed code into the Source window then clicked Insert. I they saw a yellow window with a small rectangular icon in the middle.
I'm glad it worked. When you are in the posting window authoring your post, the video will NOT appear there. It will not appear until after you actually publish your post.
I truly appreciate that you are using the embed code to actually embed the video into your post. I wish more members would do that! Too many of them simply paste the URL of the video into their post, and all that does is make a link. It does not embed the video...like this:
Rich; I'm guilty of doing both ways. I sometimes have trouble embedding so I use a link instead. I'm just wondering why you prefer the "Embed"
I prefer the embed because then the video appears RIGHT HERE!
A member doesn't have to visit some other web site to view the video, then navigate his way back here.
