Nice job, brings back a few pleasant  memories.

Quite a difference in cupolas between Canadian National & Canadian Pacific in the other thread.

Tail end brakeman's duties on arrival for duty at  VAN  on  through freight...... Sweep floor, Turn cupola seats. Fill and clean markers and all lamps.  Check for ice , water, fuel oil,  flagging kit, spare hose bags,  knuckles, brass , jack , pipe wrench, hammer & chisel . Get a pot of Coffee going, wipe grab  irons so the crusty old conductor won't get his hands dirty when he gets on.. Read trains orders, and away we go

Malcolm just received the caboose THANK YOU. the pictures you posted don't show 1/2 the quality of your workmanship. if any of you are looking for a caboose that you need trust me what Malcolm delivers is extraordinary quality. if this was made of brass you would be talking Pacific Limited quality and i was the largest dealer Pat had so i can assure you i have seen that quality.

the only thing wrong with this purchase is once you have 1 you will need more so i guess i will need to put Malcolm on the payroll !!!!!!!

Thank you, looking forward to pics with the locomotive.

What a beautiful caboose. I'd love to have one just like that and am sorry to hear of your retirement from building them. As a newbie here, I was actually unaware they were ever built for sale. I thought they were just for your personal collection.

Sad as it is for the rest of us as potential customers, enjoy the travels in your retirement!

Terry, email me, mine is my profile.
