As I was tuning around the channels I stumbled into this little gem.  Although aimed at children  and if you could get past the "lameness" of the songs and dialog, it was interesting, though I doubt I will be setting my DVR to record this show daily. Show stage  has a layout of what appears to be O gauge I think.

Today's show however had images of 261 running at speed and interior shots of the Cedar Rapids observation car.

Here is a link to show that is done in St Paul:

Probably a good show for your grandkids etc

Hi Sam,

The Choo Choo Bob show/store is a forum sponsor. I agree, it is a little gem. Goofy fun with worthwhile content. There are a couple of recent threads discussing the program and store. The cast will be performing live at the Mall of America in March. This is my daughter's favorite show--she would love to hop on a plane and go see them!

Regards,

Jim

rrman, on what channel is the show aired; e.g., Showtime, ESPN, CBS, etc.  If you supply the channel, the rest of us can see if it is aired on our local cable, satellite TV providers.

I thought everyone on the forum was aware of this show, which has been on the air for almost five years, has been written about in our magazines, has appeared live at train shows and is a forum sponsor.

It's definitely intended for kids, so I wouldn't expect most here would have watched the show.

From Bob's website:

"You can watch us at 8:00 and 8:30 am CST every Saturday and Sunday on the Qubo network, and every Thursday at 7:00 and 7:30 am CST on the Ion Network. We also have copies of our DVDs for sale in our Saint Paul store and in our online store."
