Hi All, I have been asked to tell how I converted my RailKing passenger cars from the CLAW to Kadee. Below is what I started with.

 

DSC00074What I found out was that if I cut off the claw, and milled the lower half down to the seam, it was a perfect fit to my Kadee gauge. You can see the milled and cut part below.

20161217_18542920161217_185439Once it was lined up with the center of the Kadee I drilled 1 hole  to for the mounting screws that you get with Kadee couplers. I don't have a tap so I used both screw and nut. Some times I got lucky and was able to put 2 screws and nuts per coupler. Either way I think it turned out ok and matches up great.DSC00075
