Yes that was what I was writing about. I fixed the problem with the loader. It was a broken wire after careful examination. The unloader is still not working. What happens is the warning lights flash for a second or two and the office does not light up with the car carefully positioned. Looking at the wiring there appears to be no breaks in the wiring. I have supposedly set it to Eng 1 again but I have no way to know for sure. Any recommendations as to testing the circuits would be a appreciated.

Well, I test components in my bench test set, for someone in your position, I'd stuff them into a working TMCC locomotive.  I know the R2LC has specific code for the loader, but it drives the DCDR, so it should still control motion and do something for the outer outputs.

I confess to never having to actually test the electronics in these, the problems I've experienced have been with switch adjustments and fine tuning the jaws for dropping the culverts.

Any chance the boards from the new culvert loader and unloader would work with these? The part numbers are different for the complete accessories, but maybe the boards are the same? I have these on order, but they haven't arrived yet.

Of course since they aren't available yet, the parts probably won't be either, but might (and hopefully should) be at a future date?
