The link is from Sellout.Woot that has all sorts of bargain stuff, and I have bought from Woot sites a lot in the past with good results. I thought I'd share here for those who may be Christmas shopping online today. Woot price is $70 less than the Amazon price of $299.99. I'm not sure how the price compares to hobby shops or dealers, but I'm guessing it is a lot lower.
I might pick one up myself if I hadn't bought a used 1st generation PE set last year for my son! Plus I spent a little money from suppliers here refurbing mine and replacing small parts. I bought my son the baggage car and hobo car add-ons as well as the Lionel Fastrack flashing light railroad crossing for this Christmas, so he will be thrilled!
