Premier. The RailKing that I have kept are RailKing Scale.
Gilly
I'm all premier with a couple of railking switchers. Go scale or go home
Mostly Railking but some Premier. I do own a MTH scale Hudson, GP30, and Tri-Rail F40PH that are Premier.
All MTH stuff is Premier with the exception of one Railking scale SD-45. I just had to have a Hustle Muscle.
I have one Railking 0-6-0 UP Switcher, the rest 16 locos are Premier and 18 Lionel Vision, legacy and TMCC Locos.

Mostly Premier with some "ScaleKing" locomotives in the mix.
All Premier and no Rail King for me.

All of my locomotives (30) and most of my rolling stock are Rail King. Why? Affordability and concept are my primary reasons.
My concept of trains is to have a model railroad that gives the overall impression of trains without concentration on the Premier level of fine details. I also realize that the size of my layout does not permit the large radii tracks essential to operate Premier scale trains.
In other words, I concentrate on running Rail King passenger and freight trains that have enough cars and that look realistic on curves to give the impression of the real McCoys.
I have more Railking freight cars then engines, I may have one Railking engine and two Premier engines.

One Premier Diesel, Four RailKing Scale Diesels, no steam in either.
My models include both. Since I prefer "close to 1/48 scale" models I will buy engines and cars that are "premier or scale" whenever possible. Many "RailKing" cars are actually very close to scale even though they are designed to operate on small radius track. I have some of these especially caboose, cranes and boxcars.
I do have some "conventional" Lionel and Williams engines that I operate just for fun.
My layout is mainly O-72 track and turnouts with some O-54 curves used on yard tracks.
All but one engine are Railking, mostly Imperial RK. PS1 through PS3
The One Premier I picked up second hand - PS1 Big Boy with TMCC professionally installed. (TAS)
I just can't go the extra cash for the Premier Steamers but I do love looking at them.
My MTH holdings are about 95% premier, but just 3 engines which will be converted to TMCC.
Started out with Rail King only. I now only buy scale not matter who makes it. Wish I had started with scale now........but I will have 'Rail King' days on the layout as I will never have a scale versions of many of the RK locos I have.
Mostly Premier 80%
Mostly Premier. I still have some early Railking (the first Daylight, SW8,). My most recent Railking example is an RS-1. Scale, add-on details, great runner!
I do not own any new MTH engines but do have a bunch of MTH premiere freight cars. Most of my recent MTH purchases have been cabooses. I especially like the PRR N6b with the operations flag man.
I have been all scale for a while now. I do have a older Railking Nabisco GS4 because I worked for Nabisco for 20 years.

About 85% premier
I am limited by two things, one funds the second 54" curves, so I only have 3 MTH Premier, the rest of my MTH is Railking Imperial which I consider nice models at a good price, however the majority of my new stuff is now Lionel
Easy question to answer, my MTH equipment is all Premier.
All my MTH power is Premier and Railking Scale (50/50). All the rolling stock is scale except for passenger cars because I have 054 curves.
Jay
All of my MTH is Railking
Mostly MTH RAIL KING
I collect NYC & CHRISTMAS trains !
I have a Lionel Rs-3 in Christmas Paint from 2011 or 12
My new engine to me is a NYC Mohawk protosound 2.0
85% Lionel
10% MTH Premier
05% Railking
No premier or railking. Just Lionel
I also have Just lionel
I have 1 Premier Steam engine and about 30 Railking. Mostly because of the cost difference/ I have only Premier tank cars and over 100 pieces of Railking rolling stock. To me Premier or scale is just to big. I also have 52 postwar sets on display as well as an extensive post war collection of rolling stock.
Paul Edgar
I've got both. More Railking locomotives because I can't afford the Premier versions (though exceptions have been made). The majority of my MTH rolling stock (freight) is Premier. There's nothing more visually irritating to me than to see a string of short, small freight cars trailing a locomotive. And unless it's a steam engine, even the Railking engines are too tall for Railking freight cars. Lionel has the same problem. All my passenger cars are 60' Railking. The longer Premier cars are not practical for my layout.
Your 3rd Premier is also your best looking by far, what a cute little fella. That's a great picture. If he hasn't already, sure hope he develops a liking for O gauge trains. Looks like he should be able to run grandpa's trains real soon.
Go Premier or go home. Seriously, I have all Premier. I do have some Lionel trains I restored from when I was a kid. but I never run those anymore. I just have them on display.

Having taken the plunge into DCS only a few months ago, I have 2 Railking PS3 engines and one on order. Before this I only purchased Railking cars for the same reasons above ...
Mostly Premier. Have a few Railking locomotives. The Railking Scale diesels are excellent buys.Presently,I have limited space so I can display only a portion of my roster.I have a lot of Lionel locomotives and a few Weaver,K-Line and 3rd Rail locomotives too.
I have 50% Premier, and 50% Rail King
At this point I only have Railking. I have a small layout and and a very strict budget. I have looked at Premiere and railking. I have only intermodal container Husky freight and the cost savings is minimal but the Diesels are where i find a huge cost savings with the two types. In my honest opinion Railking has alot of good qualities! I enjoy them!
I have all lionel cars and one mth railking train and two cars from k-line.
100% RailKing because I am a O-27 Layout
& run a lot of post war & pre war equipment
See Photo below, my favorite RailKing Engine. U.P. A-B-A units.
