.....with apologies to Henry Fonda and the cast of one of my favorite old movies......
Maybe, "Drums by the Mohawk" is a better term!
This engine is another beast! (And I also need to oil it!)

Nice train Peter. Thanks for posting.
Very nice video.
Oh that is cool! You really loaded it up there - and I assume those are diecast tanks? I have about twenty and I know how heavy that makes those trains.
How many cars were there. It went by too fast to count, even though I tried twice.
I have one of the Legacy Mohawks and love it - relabeled mine as ATSF though, to fit my layout's themes.
Can't say it too many times. That is one heavy train! And yes, the majority of the loads are diecast. I think the count is "35" including the caboose.
Gilly
Lee.....in the low 20s. It's a heavy train to be sure!

Nice.
How do you keep the traction tires on it?

HiHo, HiHo, it's off to war we go!
Yes, I've seen the movie. That is quite a load the Mohawk is pulling. Thanks for the nice video.
Thanks for the cool video, Peter.
I agree with Gilly. I also counted 35 cars including the caboose.
Nice video Peter. I love military loads...reminds me of my childhood when I was fascinated by all things army-related...the little green soldiers, my wind-up tanks, die cast planes with folding wings! So cool. I assume this train is heading for the 38th Parallel North!!

I went back and started and stopped the video and counted. 36 counting the caboose?
Great video of a military train and beast of a locomotive. One of the nicest military train consists I have seen on the forum and you have the troop cars in the correct position. Thank you for posting.

In order to give it a Christmas bent, I say that I am transporting Patton's 4th Armored Division.....the fellows that liberated Bastogne on December 26 1944.
