This is on Sept. 25?, at the York Fairgrounds...have you been to that, has that amounted to much?  And, Sept. 2-5 is the Narrow Guage Convention in Houston, which I knew I would not make due to vacation conflict.  The "ECTS" is not

far from Timonium...this has been a long, dry summer for train shows.....

I believe there is a “Large Scale Train Show” held at the York Expo (aka Fairgrounds) in late September every year.  I know a guy who is into G-gauge that regularly attends it.

That’s definitely not the TCA show held in April and October commonly known as “York” and attended by many of us on this Forum.

I have been to the show a couple of times with each time appearing to lose more and more.  I will never attend again.  As David1 stated, it is not worth it in my opinion but I came in from Georgia.  I don't mind driving and hour or so, but I would be more concerned on the $10 spent entering for not worth it.  It is in the Blue/Silver and the majority was layout setups.  The last time I took the Amtrak for I had paid for tickets and that part was fun, but I was done in about 15 minutes and hard time staying so left shortly after arriving.   That was March of 2014.

If you do go, go with NO expectations so that you are not let down or plan on doing other stuff in York area.

The show used to be a decent show.  They switched tracks a few years ago and went to all large scale stuff.  The first time I attended it had a lot of O.  It used to fill both the Blue and Silver Halls.  I think the spring show is better.  A couple years ago the tried to market it as an all scale show in the fall.  I went and as others have said, it was not worth the drive.
