probably more like a "cheap" shopper!! I don't like spending $50-$60 even upwards of $70-$100 a car. When traveling to train shows, the 1rst thing I look at is the prices of items on any particular table. If they are out of my reach, I walk.

Popi just a question about the grain train your working on putting together. Are you using Lionel Standard O hoppers? The reason I'm asking and forgive me if you know already Lionel made a beautiful Canadian Pacific Grain train boxed set several years ago. It came with a Dash-9 and I think 5 or 6 grain hoppers.

I saw that set and it was interesting, except I wanted grain cars that were a little longer. That's why I picked up the Weaver covered grain hoppers. They are 15-16" long.

So far Ive only got $230 in 6 covered grain hoppers, 2 cylindricall grain hoppers

and a caboose.

Been looking for a loco fro about $100-$150 and Ill still be close or below the price of the Lionel set.

I see them for $100 and under. how much you wanna spend???

Had a great time at Chicago show with my brother. saw some KW transformers but they were high $150 and up.

Picked up a couple Ore cars and Williams F3 AAs Denver and Rio Grand.
