I have decided to upgrade my MTH SD40-2s from PS1 to TMCC with ERR boards. Has anybody done this to their SD40s? I've upgraded an MTH steamer before, is it easier to upgrade diesels? With this upgrade, will the ditch light flash when the horn is being sounded? Will I have to get all knew lighting or just wire the constant voltage board to the ERR board?

It's pretty easy to upgrade a diesel, usually considerably easier than steam. The ditch lights will NOT flash with the horn with the ERR upgrade. You can wire the constant voltage board to the ERR light output, but note that the ERR lighting output is NEGATIVE in respect to frame ground, something to keep in mind.
