If it's just the front truck, chances are it maybe unplugged. Easy to check anyways.

How do I check? Do I have to remove the body shell? or I have noted 4 screws (2 ea side of motorblock) or do they just remove side frames?

The truck's plugs have four wires that run on top of each truck from the plug up into the shell. It's a white plastic plug that's in the front of each truck towards the couplers. The top of the plug should be about even with the top of the truck I believe (without looking).

There's also a chance that the motor plug has come undone on the inside. That would need the shell removed to check. Follow the instructions for doing this in the manual or online at MTH. You didn't state the product number?
