What is your favorite Horn or Whistle on any locos running today? (Real or any model can count too)
My favorite is the Santa Fe 3751 and the Galloping Goose Horns.

Mine would have to be the whistle on Arcade and Attica's #18. I used to go up there every Saturday and volunteer until I moved out of state.

Although I don't own one myself, I'd have to say the whistle on the big boy is my favorite.
I don't know if it's multiple speakers or what but big boy gives a haunting, reverberating sound that's not heard in other steamers.

Gotta' go with Ray, my VL-BB has an amazing whistle. Love the sound, it's like being there.

My oldest son briefly had diesel locomotive horns mounted on his pickup truck. No idea what kind they were but, you needed ear protection if you were standing near the vehicle when he blew them. Fortunately, he tired of them quickly and sold them to a friend before I had any issues with the neighborhood HOA.

My favorite whistle is my 4-6-0 MTH with PS3, my favorite Horn is my GP-38 Williams True Blast ll that echo's while it's blowing . My favorite Chatter engine is the Lionel GP-38, they have about 15 different dialogs between Engineer, Brakeman and Dispatch.

Leslie 5 chime as done by the Frisco during the 1970s. Some of the Leslie's were just a bit "tired" and sort of had a "squawk" to them. Sounded great and very unique to the old Frisco stuff. Haven't heard that sound going on 35+ years now... but I can still hear the sound of them in my memory files. (And they likely contributed to the constant ringing that's in my ears!)

Horn: Leslie Typhon A-200-156-PB as used on the GG1 (and many others)
or Nathan Airchime P5 as used on the Western Maryland FAs and Fs.
It is a close tie there for me.
Whistle: Westinghouse air whistle (@12 inches long) as used on the PRR MP54s and many other transit-type cars.
I have one each of those if I ever want to listen to them.
Here the noise makers I acctually own below in the 3 videos below. Even though that chrome horn is an imitation train horn, it sounds resembling and got that a one heck of a deal. As for the RS2A which the top video, is my Real Train Horn named a Leslie RS2A. RS means the Spike Back Power Chamber and S just means not Spike Back. But here are the 3 videos below of my 3 noise makers. But the RS2A I have I love.
And the video below is of my RS2A and guy on the corner of my road blowing his Nathan K5LA.
Also there another gentleman about a half mile to the west of my house that has a Raised Letter K5LA.
One of my favorites is on NS 7247, which the video below isn't mine.
I think this his my new favorite. I always wondered about steam whistle specifications. Anyone know if there were industry standards? Were all whistles similar on a particular line (PRR, NYC, etc)? Or were there standards for classes (Pacific, Consolidation, Hudson)? Or was it by manufacturer? there are two channels on XM Radio that play steam whistle sound bytes between songs and I always wonder if "experts" can identify the class of locomotive. Thanks

Oh man those leslie horn remind me when I was a kid.The scl had some horns that sound like this.In my home town of monroe n.c. The k5la has a nice echo to it.Just like the trains coming into town would sometime echo.Some times making one think there was another train coming into town.And by the way some time it was another train coming into town.
