I have always been frustrated trying to print a single page in RRTrack 4, such that it fills an entire 8.5 x 11 sheet. Usually the print is compressed into the upper left corner and does not nearly fill the sheet. I don't know how much paper and colored ink I have wasted trying to get what I want to print.

But last night I found a good way to do it is to use Windows snipping tool to get exactly what you want to print. Wish I had thought of that years ago! If you have similar printing issues, give the snipping tool a try. it works great.

(I don't know if printing is any better in RRTrack 5. If Russ would add the ability to custom cut FasTrack fitters, I would probably go that way, but so far he has said he won't add this feature.)

I'd been doing that for years, though I used the Picasa crop tool before I discovered the Snipping Tool. Now I use the Snipping tool to save all my images from RR-Track and SCARM rather than their export options. The Snipping Tool files are much smaller and perfect for posting. Plus you can mark them up to highlight things before you save and post them.

Been there, done that. As good as RRTrack is, printing in general is a weakness. V5 is not any better in my opinion. I use the snipping tool as well.

I agree that the techniques described above are the only way to print out the full size layout in a way that's acceptable for viewing.  I use an ancient version of Snag-It and an equally ancient version of Paint Shop Pro to reassemble all the pieces.

My girlfriend once asked me to create as large an image as possible and she took the resulting image to her graphic design job and printed the below:

It will be hung somewhere in the layout room after it's built.  I also use the individual pieces printed on 8.5 x 11 paper for individual detail as I build it.
