This month has been very busy with getting ready for York, taxes, and cleanup from the snow.  Ten days ago, Dotty, Ralph, and I had a two day visit from our good friend Locolawyer.  Erol stopped by to run some trains and teach me how to repair trains.  Last week we were visited by Phil Klopp.  Phil  has always been an inspiration to me with his great layout and catenary work.  It took a while but Phil made it here and Dotty and I will pay him a visit on the way to York next week.  Yesterday our friend Peter Condro stopped by to spend time.  Peter is a great guy and a wealth of knowledge.  All OGR Forum members have a standing invitation to stop by.

Photo number one is Locolawyer (AKA Erol Gurcan), Ralph, and myself.  Photo number two is Phil Klopp, and photo number three is Peter Condro.  All great train friends.

This thread tells about the best part of the hobby. It's called being cordial, friendly, hospitable and sharing your hobby. I always said that my train layout isn't much good unless I can share the experience with others. ALL forum members are always welcome here.   Apparently Marty, Dottie and Ralph up North feel the same way. Way to go!

Marty and Dotty are great hosts, when my wife, and grand visited Marty last summer he was on the road but we were welcomed just hours after he got in. Sorry we could not have given more notice. My wife and grand go with me on most lay-out visits (last summer we were on vacation though) but doesn't like to stay long as she says she doesn't know others in the hobby, she had a good time talking with Dotty and when we left she said now I know someone.

PTL and Elizabeth were also great hosts when we visited them on the same vacation.

One of the great things about this hobby is seeing great lay-outs and the friendships made through it!
